The mission of the King David High School Library is to support the academic goals of the students and faculty. This involves a wide array of print and electronic resources that support the curriculum and professional development, coupled with a focus on developing research and critical evaluation skills. Strong fiction and graphic novel collections complement this, and serve as the foundation for both the school’s Independent Reading Program and individual students’ interests. Ten lending laptops are available for library use via the school-wide wireless network. Individual and group study spaces enable students to complete class assignments as well as engage in self-directed learning. The informal, computer-free lounge area offers the students a place to read and relax. The librarian is available for individual assistance.
