Parent Action Committee

Welcome to the King David Family!

The Parent Action Committee (PAC) would like to welcome you to King David and we invite you to join us in supporting our school.

The PAC is comprised of a group of parents who meet regularly throughout the year to work toward the goals of enhancing the quality of school life for our children and increasing opportunities for parent involvement. Past PAC activities include organizing casino nights, lectures, and educational events for parents. PAC also takes the lead in organizing special holiday events for the students, for example, Hanukkah lunch, Yom Ha’atzmaut party, mishloach manot program, and Random Acts of Chesed (RAC) Week activities. Throughout the year there are a variety of volunteer opportunities for King David parents and guardians – keep your eyes out for these events in the weekly school emails.

Through our fundraising efforts, we are able to grant “teacher wishes”; this is just one way we can help support the faculty to ensure they have everything they need to help enrich school life for our students.

Did you know that just by being a parent or guardian of a student at King David you are a part of the PAC? It’s true! PAC holds 2-3 meetings a year. Please join us at our next meeting. Meeting times are posted in the Sunday Information and Reminders email.

We look forward to meeting you soon

If you’d like to get in touch with PAC, please contact the school office.
