A HEROIC STORY

Today, Friday, November 18, Grade 11 and 12 students were fortunate to hear Rami Sherman’s incredible story. Rami grew up on kibbutz Lehavot Habashan in the north of Israel and was educated by the kibbutz movement educational system. During his army service, he served in the IDF’s Navy Seal unit from which he was honourably discharged with the rank of Major. In 1976, during the “Entebbe Operation”, Rami served as Yoni Netanyahu’s Operations Officer, who led the backup force. It was an incredible experience to hear from Rami how the operation unfolded and how so many lives were saved.

LESSONS IN BUSINESS FROM AN EXPERT

It was truly a pleasure to have Jeremy Ben-David speak to the Business Club on Thursday. He is the founder of an Israeli Law firm, specializing in intellectual property and patents. He was able to provide us with great insights into the business world. We learned some incredible lessons such as making sure to trust your partner, maintaining your principles, and the value of dreaming big. Students had the opportunity to ask questions on any topic and gained knowledge that they will definitely take with them as they move forward in their careers.
