STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
This week both Junior and Senior Student Council led King David’s staff appreciation week. This week included handwritten personalized cards, a wall of sticky notes expressing King David’s gratitude, an arrangement of flowers and chocolates, and catered lunches from Nava’s Cafe. We appreciate all that you have done for the King David community through this crazy time! Thank you to the King David staff!

MAZAL TOV, MR. DICHTER!
King David teacher and basketball coach Matt Dichter has been selected as the Team Manager for the Maccabi Games for basketball in Israel in 2022!

Matt will be the team manager of the u16 (2006/07) National Maccabi Boys Basketball Team competing in Israel. Working with Head Coach Dave Nepon of Winnipeg, Matt will lead a delegation of athletes competing in July 2022.

The Maccabi Games are the third largest sporting event in the world and are widely known as the “Jewish Olympics”. There are a variety of sports and the games are open for people of every age group (born 2006 or earlier).
