General Studies

The unique feature of King David High School is its dynamic, integrated dual curriculum.
The General Studies curriculum includes all courses necessary to receive a graduation diploma at the conclusion of Grade 12. KDHS offers a variety of electives in conjunction with the mandatory courses.
Elective options increase as students advance to higher grades in all areas including:

- Humanities
- Math and Sciences
- Visual and Performing Arts
- Applied Skills
- French
- Spanish
- Physical Education
All courses are approved by the British Columbia Ministry of Education and carry course credit for graduation. At the time of publication, B.C. universities require a second language at the Grade 11 level as part of their entrance requirements – KDHS offers accredited French, Spanish and Hebrew for this purpose.
