Q. Describe King David's Curriculum.

A. King David's unique feature is its dual curriculum - General and Judaic Studies Program.

Students follow a core curriculum that includes Mathematics, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Applied Skills, Fine Arts (Art, Drama and Music), Health and Career Education, English, French, Hebrew, Jewish History, Hebrew language and Judaic Studies.

In addition to the core curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education, students have electives in all subjects. Elective options increase as students advance to higher grades in all areas including the Humanities, Sciences, Visual and Performing Arts, Applied Skills, French, Spanish, and Judaics.

Q. Does King David offer extra help for students with individual difficulties?

A. King David provides individual support for students who have learning difficulties, or disabilities in one or more areas; as well as enrichment and ESL support.

Q. What emphasis is there on the Visual and Performing Arts?

A. Numerous courses and opportunities are available in both performing and visual arts. Each year the Norman Rothstein theatre is filled to capacity with family and friends clamoring to see the latest King David Theatrical Production. The Fine Arts department also puts on an annual Fine Arts Coffee House which showcases student accomplishments in Music, Drama, and Art.
