Shabbat Begins: 7:22 p.m.   Shabbat Ends: 8:26 p.m.
Parsha: Ki Tavo: Deuteronomy 26:1 – 29:8

Eager to reconnect with friends after the long summer vacation, staff and students began arriving early on Tuesday morning. The building quickly filled with shrieks of happiness as friends arrived and hugs were shared!

At a school-wide assembly, students cheered as Mr. Monchamp, Deputy Head of School, welcomed them, displaying their happiness to be back. Mr. Klein, Head of School, addressed the students, sharing some words of encouragement for the new year. Rabbi Berger, with the help of Matthew Porte and Aaron Casseres, Grade 12, blew the shofar to begin the new year together. The shofar will be heard every day during the month of Elul. Following the assembly, Grade 9 – 12 students went off to their classes and the 33 Grade 8 students remained in the atrium, spending time playing games geared towards getting to know each other and some of the staff.

We are all set to have an exciting year together!

Welcome Class of 2022!
