Girls’ Soccer Season Wrap Up

This year’s King David girls Soccer team had one of our best seasons in King David history.  Our soccer team is a beautiful mixture ranging from stellar Grade 8 rookies to experienced seniors.

“With our amazing coaches we are able to both work hard and have tons of fun!” said Hanah,

Grade 8.

Neeve, Grade 11 said, “The soccer team gave me an amazing opportunity to have fun and make new friends!”

Giovanna, Grade 8 who moved here from Brazil this year said, “Playing soccer this year helped me learn how to play soccer and speak English at the same time!”

Way to go girls!

Beit Halochem IDF Veterans Visit

Today, students from Grades 10, 11 and 12 had the opportunity to hear from IDF veterans. This is their 6th visit to King David and is a highlight of their trip!

They explained the duties of the various units in which they had served and proudly displayed the berets they had worn –  each unit can be identified by the colour.

Nature Walk

This week, the Grade 8 girls took advantage of the warmer weather and went on a brisk nature walk to Queen Elizabeth Park during their PE class.  They were able to observe the beautiful nature around them, play a game of Camouflage, and walk about 3.5 km!

Celebrating After Ultimate Frisbee

On Thursday, our Ultimate Frisbee team consisting of students from Grade 8 – 12 participated in their final game of the season at Montgomery Park against St. Johns. After a great game, they wrapped up the season with a cool drink.
