New Year, New Beginnings

As the new school year begins, we look forward to welcoming back our current families and together, welcoming our new families to the King David community. We are thrilled to welcome over 40 Grade 8 students along with students at all other grades.

The administration was hard at work over the summer and we are so excited about the coming year. We have many new staff (see our next article to meet them all) and new programs in both Judaic and General Studies. Teachers have been in to prepare for the year ahead and we are ready to have a busy building again.

In addition, Head of School Russ Klein and Deputy Head of School Alex Monchamp have caught the “twitter” virus – so if you want to follow them (and who wouldn’t?) they can respectively be found at: @rkleinHOS and @amonchampDHOS – they both wish you all a very “tweet year”!

All King David staff – working in August!

Finally, and even more fun than twitter, is the fact that this year is a special one for King David. We are celebrating 10 years in our ‘still feels like new’ building on Willow Street. We have spent the summer looking at the years that have past and reflecting on our future. May it be a sweet, happy and fulfilling year for us all!

Stay tuned for a year of celebrations!

Meet the New Members of King David’s Staff!

Our new school year begins with the happy addition of new members of staff in both the teaching and administration arenas.

We extend a warm welcome to Christianne Bauck, Ellia Belson, Jordana Corenblum, Matt Dichter, Ashley Miller Bouchard, Roz Mullen and David Schein.
