King David Open House

On Tuesday evening the school was filled with families interested in exploring King David as the next step in their education journey. Over 160 people joined the presentation hosted by our students with Russ Klein, Head of School, and the entire King David teaching staff.

Below is the introductory video presentation which will provide a small taste of the evening. It will give you just a hint of what an extraordinary experience we offer our students and community.

Thank you to the many families who attended and made the evening such a success! Thank you as well to all the King David students who so willingly volunteered their time to serve as ambassadors for their school!
After-School Tutoring and Homework
Ms. Baloun, Ms. Kasirer and Mr. Klein working with students

This group runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week. The program  provides students with an opportunity to complete homework or
to preview any upcoming work with support from a teacher.

We had a great week this week with a large group of Grade 10 students joining us to practice concepts to improve their skills in Math. Thank you Ms. Baloun, for helping with this tutoring! Grade 12 students worked on their Socials project with support from Mr. Rosenberg. Your support is greatly appreciated. Mr. Klein, thanks for coming over and helping our students with Radicals and Exponents! Students loved it.

Paying it Forward!

Twenty Grade 8 and Grade 9 students carried dozens and dozens of boxes, one by one, down the stairs and across the JCC in preparation for the annual book sale. With sore arms, they enjoyed noshing on muffins provided by NAVA in gratitude of their hard work. The same students cannot wait to be asked back to carry the unsold books back up to the library. Please support both the JCC and our students by buying as many of those books as you can so that we have less to return up the stairs and down the seemingly endless hallways!

Rachel and Matthew, Grade 8 happily helping out.
