New Year, New Beginnings

As the new school year begins, we look forward to welcoming back our current families and together, welcoming our new families to the King David community.

The administration has been hard at work over the summer and the new school year begins with many changes:

  • a new school management software program (PCR) with new parent and student access,
  • a new school website,
  • new smart classroom technology,
  • a new library configuration with new laptops, and
  • new staff who are joining our wonderful returning faculty.

The start of the  new school year coincides with Rosh Hashanah. The holiday of Rosh Hashanah provides us with the opportunity to pause and reflect. We are presented with an extraordinary occasion to examine our past and reflect on our future.

As we begin a new year together, may we all be inscribed in God’s good books for a sweet, happy and fulfilling year.

Meet the New Members of King David’s Staff!

Our new school year begins with the happy addition of new members of staff in both the teaching and administration arenas.

We extend a warm welcome to Aron Rosenberg, Camelia Kasirer, Christopher Knapp, Kimberley Walker, Thom Watchorn, Andrea Bennett, Jason O’Sullivan, Matthew Watts and Sarah Berger.

With the chagim falling so close to the start of the year, it was decided to cancel the retreat for this year. We will be looking at other opportunities during the year to create bonding activities in different ways.
